Ozzy Osbourne’s official merch store has dropped a limited edition shirt taking a not-so-subtle jab at Roger Waters, and it’s already stirred up plenty of chat online.

A reel posted on Ozzy’s Instagram this morning (December 1) shows a cartoon Ozzy peeing a rainbow on a wall that looks a lot like the artwork from Pink Floyd’s The Wall. The clip pushes the “Another Prick in the Wall Tee”, which is only on sale for 48 hours.

Playing over the video is audio from The Osbournes podcast, where Sharon Osbourne let loose on Waters. She says, “He has no charisma, he looks like Frankenstein. The guy is sick in the head, he is not relevant in today's world. Nobody likes him. He’s boring, no charisma, he's got no stage presence... [he's] envious and he's just a bad seed.”

The comments came from a recent episode where the family talked openly about Ozzy’s death for the first time. Waters’ name popped up after the Osbournes reacted to remarks he made after Ozzy passed.

The shirt is selling for £41 through Ozzy’s UK web store, which is around $78NZD. 

So what kicked this whole thing off? 

Earlier this year, not long after Ozzy’s passing, Waters had taken a swipe at Ozzy and Black Sabbath on The Independent Ink podcast. 

He said, “Ozzy Osbourne, who just died, bless him, in his, whatever that state that he was in his whole life, we'll never know... he was all over the TV for hundreds of years with his idiocy and nonsense.” He added, “I couldn't give a fuck. I don't care about Black Sabbath, I never did... biting the heads off chickens or whatever they do. I couldn't care less.”

Jack Osbourne hit back shortly after, posting, “Hey Roger Waters, fuck you. How pathetic and out of touch you've become... My father always thought you were a c**t, thanks for proving him right.”

There’s plenty of debates in the comments already about the limited-edition shirt. 

“Love Ozzy but I also love Pink Floyd.. don’t have to tarnish the wall and make merch out of it.. because of what Roger waters said.. definitely pass on this.. grow up,” wrote one person on Instagram.

Someone clapped back, writing, “lol F Roger waters. Who waits til someone’s deceased to talk shit like that? He deserves it all.”

Another commented, “Pretty sure Gilmour and Mason are laughing their asses off right about now…”
