Ozzy Osbourne’s legacy at Aston Villa is rolling on, this time with a very small pair of boots.

Kelly Osbourne has revealed her three-year-old son Sidney, who she shares with Slipknot’s Sid Wilson, will be Aston Villa’s official mascot when they take on Manchester United at Villa Park on Sunday, December 21.

The match lands just days before Christmas and at a stadium that means a hell of a lot to the Osbourne family.

Villa Park of course hosted Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath’s Back to the Beginning homecoming concert back in July, just a short walk from where Sabbath formed more than 50 years ago. Ozzy sadly died 17 days after that farewell show.

Kelly shared the mascot news while chatting about her brother Jack’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here campmate Angry Ginge, who happens to be a die-hard Manchester United fan.

“I’m going to message Angry Ginge because there's a football match going on on the 21st with Villa and Man Utd, my son's going to be the mascot. So I was going to see if he wanted to go,” Kelly said.

She also joked about the family’s Christmas plans, saying Jack will head back to Los Angeles while she stays in the UK.

“My dad was never such a huge fan of Christmas,” she added via the Daily Mirror. “He always found a way to kind of ruin it. So this year I'm going to figure out a way to try and ruin it for everyone else!”

Aston Villa have leaned heavily into their Sabbath roots in recent years. The club launched an Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath themed shirt in October 2024, honoured Ozzy with a huge tifo before their Champions League match against Celtic in January 2025, and even starred Ozzy and Geezer Butler in a home kit advert last year.

From the Prince of Darkness to a pint-sized mascot, Villa Park really is keeping it in the family.
