'Overwhelmed with pride': NZ's Black Ferns Sevens show off unreal voices in pre-game hype up

Is there anything these wahine can't do?!

They might not have won the Madrid Sevens Series over the weekend, but, the Black Ferns Sevens did win the hearts of TikTok while once again revealing the incredibly multi-talented side to the team.

Viral footage from the official @nzsevens TikTok account, saw the ladies strut the hallway to Metropolitano Stadium in style.

"On the way to warm up you'll hear the Black Ferns Sevens before you see them," the post was hilariously captioned.

Starting with just a video of the hallway, you can hear the team singing along to DJ Toa's remix of 'E Te Iwi E' with a cheerful team appearing a few seconds later.

The entire team walks through the hallway, singing beautifully, while looking extremely relaxed before their warm-up

The video has amassed 82k views in just two days, with many commenting on how it sets the tone for the team environment.

"What a way to announce your presence ?🏽", said one comment.

Another added: "With your competition right behind you... Staunch wahine alright ??🙏🏽"

While it seems they may have gained a new fan from the video. "That's soooooo cool. My fave team in sports now," wrote a third.

Their Black Ferns XV sisters also gained attention on TikTok for beautifully singing to their family and friends after their win against Australia.

The women took to the stage in the postmatch press room after their win against Australian Wallaroos late last month to beautifully sing the waiata 'Toku Reo, Toku Ohooho'.

Showing how talented the whole team is, the clip has since been viewed over 350k times and 51k likes.

In July, the Black Ferns Sevens will head to Paris for the Olympics, as reigning champions, previously winning Gold in Tokyo 2020.

We can't wait to see what singalongs we get the pleasure of hearing during their journey to winning another Gold for NZ.
