'Heated Rivalry' star Hudson Williams only had one word to describe the confirmed second season of the hit Netflix show.
During an interview on the Oscars red carpet, he was asked what the fans can look forward to.
"Sex"... that's it! That's all we get.
But you know what, we'll take it!
'Heated Rivalry' is a steamy, addictive, sweet TV drama about two rival ice-hockey stars, Shane Hollander (Hunter Williams) and Ilya Rozanov (Connor Storrie), who can’t keep their hands (or feelings) off each other.
It has gone from the a book about 'smutty' love to a full-blown obsession and cultural reset.
When speaking with CNN and Variety on the Oscars red carpet, Hudson described the experience of rising to fame, calling his first Oscars appearance “surreal and gratifying.”
'Heated Rivalry' season two is expected to begin shooting later this year.
The cast is more united than ever. Just last week the crew including François Arnaud and Ksenia Daniela Kharlamova put out a joint statement on their respective social media platforms condemning prejudiced comments from supposed fans.
"Don't call yourself a fan if you share racist/homophobic/biphobic/misogynistic/ageist/ableist/parasocial/bigoted comments of any kind," the statement read. "None of us need your hateful 'love'."
The note continued, "We all respect and support and love each other and are on the same side. If you can't accept that, gtfoh."
Kharlamova also shared an addendum on her Instagram Story: "Pls don't make a show that's about love be hateful online. So much love was poured into this project, and we all genuinely have so much respect for everyone involved in making this."
It's been a huge response from fans everywhere. Let's hope the love continues into season two.
