If you're anything like me, your childhood probably consisted of spending countless hours playing with your collection of Barbie dolls.
Well, guess what? Thanks to the new 'Barbie' movie, your collection might just be worth a small fortune now.
I don't mean to make you freak out, but it's time to dig into the old boxes that have been sitting in the garage for years and unearth those old dolls.
With the new movie starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling set to hit theatres later this month, the Barbie buzz is through the roof and causing vintage Barbie prices to skyrocket.
So, right now is the prime time to cash in on your old Barbie stash.
Now, before you go dreaming of dollar signs, you must know that your dolls need to be in tip-top condition to reach that top dollar at auction.
Sorry, but your well-loved, bedraggled companion might not cut it. Though, exceptions can be made if she happens to be a special edition, of course.
Great now that's out of the way, let's talk about the Barbie dolls that could be earning you the most dosh.

Of course, the Number One Barbie. Released in 1959, this vintage beauty is the holy grail for collectors. It's the OG Barbie, and it's as rare as a unicorn sighting.
In 2006, one lucky collector snagged a Number One Barbie for a cool £2,880 (NZD $5,924), exceeding expectations.
Fast forward to today, and a mint-condition Number One Barbie is estimated to sell for nearly £22,000 (NZD $45,257). Cha-ching!
So, what are you waiting for? Dust off those boxes, and hope that Barbie's fabulous hair has stood the test of time, cause you might just make some good cash.
