Liam Gallagher regrets ‘wasted years’ ahead of Oasis reunion

It’s been 16 years since they appeared live together.

Liam Gallagher has indicated he regrets the "wasted years" as he prepares for the upcoming Oasis reunion.

On Wednesday, a fan asked the singer-songwriter via X what it was like to be performing with his brother Noel Gallagher as they prepare for their new tour.

In response, Liam noted that he wished he reunited with Noel, 58, sooner.

"You know what it's spiritual but I can't help think about all those wasted years what a waste of PRECIOUS time," he commented.

Meanwhile, another follower questioned Liam whether he was feeling "pressure" over being back in the spotlight.

"I wouldn't do it if there was pressure I'm not that kind of soul," the 52-year-old shared.

Formed in Manchester, England in 1991, the rock group rose to prominence with their debut 1994 album, Definitely Maybe.

But despite finding massive success with their follow-up album (What's the Story) Morning Glory?, which included the singles Don't Look Back in Anger and Wonderwall, Liam and Noel built up a reputation for their tempestuous relationship and public feuds.

Noel announced he was quitting Oasis in 2009, effectively breaking up the band.

Yet, after years of tension between the brothers, they announced last August that they would be reforming the group for the Oasis Live '25 Tour.

The trek, which kicks off in Cardiff, Wales on 4 July, is set to be Oasis's first live appearance in 16 years.
