Olivia Dean got the world hooked with her music last year, and if there's one video you need to watch today, then it is this one.

Talented local artist Jordyn with a Why released a beautiful te reo Māori version of Olivia Dean's Dive.

Sharing the rendition, the Samoan Māori Artist wrote: "probs lotsa grammar errors but we givin it a go coz we adore @oliviadeano 🫶🏾✨ HNY e te iwi x".

With over 130K views already, it will definitely rack up more, and hopefully, Miss Olivia Dean herself comes across it. And surely the two could do a collab on stage when she comes to Aotearoa in October this year.

"How beautiful is your voice. Thank you for sharing your gift," one viewer wrote.

"Ughhh sissy this is beautiful," another wrote.

"You need to release this sissy," a third wrote and we totally agree.

Can this be released officially on streaming platforms, please?

Known for her bilingual (Māori & English) soulful sounds, and her dedication to language reclamation, Jordyn with a Why brings a deep sense of connection and mana to every note.

“Reclaiming te reo Māori has totally turned my entire life around,” she told Stuff.

“It’s given me a much broader perspective on life and opportunities and the kind of trajectory that we can go on.”

Jordyn with a Why won the Best Female Artist at the 2023 Māori Music Awards and she won the Best Pacific Album at the 2025 Pacific Music Awards for her album 'Hibiscus Moon, Love & Justice. She was also the finalist for Best Pacific Female Artist and Best Pacific Soul R&B Artist last year.
