Nikki Lane expecting first baby at 42

Nikki Lane has revealed she's expecting her first baby.

The country singer, who turns 43 in October, revealed on Instagram that she and her husband, Wade Crescent, will soon be welcoming their first child together - a "souvenir" from their recent honeymoon.

Lane announced the news alongside a photo of herself cradling her pregnant belly as she sat on her husband's knee. The pair smiled at the camera alongside their golden retriever.

"Honeymoon souvenir. Baby Crescent coming soon," she wrote.

Several singer-songwriters shared their congratulations on Instagram, including Charley Crockett, who commented, "Congratulations."

The news comes over a year after the couple married on 31 August 2025. In September last year, Lane told the The Sydney Morning Herald about her newlywed life a month after the wedding, sharing, "I am lucky to have found a loving and kind person."

In the same article, the Highway Queen revealed that she first met her husband, an Englishman who had been living in the States for 15 years, through mutual friends in 2023. She shared that she took him "two-stepping", and that they had talked every day since.

Lane earned critical acclaim for her album Highway Queen and won the Ameripolitan Music Award for Outlaw Country Female in 2017. She has also collaborated with other artists including Lana Del Rey.
