Nicole Taylor, a member of the country music trio Taylor Red, has died. She was 35.

The singer, who was diagnosed with breast cancer four years ago, is mourned by her sisters and bandmates.

"We are shocked and heartbroken to announce the passing of our sister," Nika Taylor and Natalie Taylor said in a social media post Monday. "We honestly thought she'd be healed here on earth, but now she's being healed in Heaven.

"She's at peace and no longer suffering, so we're thankful for that."

Originally from Mississippi but based in Nashville, the identical red-haired triplets began making music together in 2010 under the name Red Roots before renaming their band Taylor Red eight years later.

The country music trio became hugely popular after their song Country Money went viral on social media in 2021. A year later, Nicole Taylor was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer.

"I remember we were out in a public place, and she got a phone call from the nurse about her biopsy results," Natalie Taylor said in a social media video at the time.

"And she was like, 'You have cancer.' I remember just breaking down in utter shock."

The group, which has more than 30 million followers on social media, has opened for several major country and Christian music acts, including Amy Grant, Charlie Daniels and Diamond Rio.
