Nickelback have officially kicked off their next chapter, releasing their new single Rattle the Cage and announcing their eleventh studio album, Everything Under the Sun, due out on October 30th.
It's the band's first new music since 2022's Get Rollin', and by the sounds of it, they're not interested in easing back into things. Rattle the Cage comes out swinging with thunderous drums from Daniel Adair, Chad Kroeger's unmistakable rasp, and features guitarist John 5.
"This album has every side of the band on it," Kroeger said. "There are songs that hit as hard as anything we've ever done, songs that take chances and songs that remind us why we've been doing this together for so long."
Speaking about the lead single, Kroeger added: "Rattle The Cage felt like the perfect way to kick the door open. It has the energy we've been feeding off every night onstage and we can't wait for people to hear it."
For a band that's spent decades proving they can pack out arenas around the world, Everything Under the Sun looks set to remind fans why Nickelback have remained one of rock's biggest names. Whether you're here for the heavier tracks or the anthems they've become known for, this record sounds like it'll have a bit of everything.
The album, which is set to have 12 songs on it, is available to pre-order now.
