New York Knicks basketball player Josh Hart has denied being invited to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding.
Earlier this week, editors at Page Six reported that the championship-winning team's starting five - Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns, Mikal Bridges, OG Anunoby and Josh - had been invited to the celebrity wedding of the year, which is believed to be taking place in New York City on Friday.
However, Josh seemed to deny the rumours on X on Thursday, labelling the speculation "fake news".
His teammate Jeremy Sochan, who comes off the bench, reshared the report on X and jokingly wrote, "What about me? (sad face emoji) @joshhart can I be your plus 1?"
Josh responded, "lol bro this fake news."
Taylor is a fan of the basketball team and sat courtside during Game 4 of the NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden on 10 June, cheering on Josh and his teammates alongside her pals Este and Alana Haim and Mariska Hargitay.
Preparations have been underway at Madison Square Garden, the Knicks' home arena, for the past few days ahead of the wedding, which will reportedly take place inside the famed venue on Friday.
The festivities kicked off in earnest on Thursday, when guests were seen arriving at MSG for what was believed to be a rehearsal dinner. Celebrity guests included Lena Dunham, Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, Selena Gomez, Jack Antonoff and his sister Rachel.
According to Mail Online, the pop superstar left the venue at 12:30am on Friday after eight hours of celebrations.
