New Way Home - The Oath

Formed in 2002 from the classic nineties hardcore band Dayone, New Way Home are a 5 piece alt rock/metal band from Auckland New Zealand.

Defined by a blend of groove metal and grunge with space rock, post hardcore and progressive flavours all while keeping song flow, melody and meaning at the forefront of their work. New Way Home took a step back from constant touring in 2014 to build families.

Singer Richie Simpson was recruited by City Of Souls and went on to win the AMA for best rock band in 2020 racking up over 6 million streams in the process.
