New book of unreleased photos of Avicii's life gives fans a glimpse at the man behind the music

From his childhood to some of his biggest gigs!

Written by Bethan Madoc A new photobook capturing the life of our three-time Club-Classics-Countdown-winner and dance music icon Avicii has dropped.

'The Life and Music of Tim Bergling' gives us a close-up look at the late superstar and takes us backstage into the life he lived.

2018 was a sad year for us electronic music lovers as we lost one of the industry greats at the young age of 28.

"When Tim Bergling held his arm in the air in an iconic pose, he did more than get the crowd to dance - he also totally redefined electronic dance music."

After Avicii's death, his family opened the Tim Bergling Foundation, which raises awareness for mental health and suicide prevention. All profits from the book go towards helping out this amazing cause.

"This book pays tribute to Tim's musical career and traces his life in images from his childhood to some of his biggest gigs, including some rare personal moments."

Prior to the photobook, Tim: The Official Biography of Avicii, written by Swedish journalist Måns Mosesson, was published in 2021. It gave fans a raw look into what Avicii was dealing with before his death.

As well as the release of the photobook this year, a full-fledged documentary about Avicii has just premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival.

The photobook is available from Avicii's official merch website and is sure to be an EDM collector's item one day.
