Get ready - the first trailer for 'Stranger Things' season 4 has dropped ahead of its anticipated return.
It's been a long wait for this next 'Stranger Things' installment, with a three-year-long hiatus due to the pandemic pausing production back in February 2020.
The newest season, said to be one of the last of the series, will take place six months after the battle of Starcourt, and with the stars learning to navitage high school.
"It's not all good news for our 'American'; he is imprisoned far from home in the snowy wasteland of Kamchatka, where he will face dangers both human... and other,
"Meanwhile, back in the States, a new horror is beginning to surface, something long-buried, something that connects everything."
Creators of the show Matt and Ross Duffer have said this season will open up new plotlines "into areas outside of Hawkins," and they've dubbed season 4 their "Game of Thrones" season, since it's so much longer than previous seasons.
The fourth instalment will feature the return of Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Finn Wolfhard, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery and Priah Ferguson.
There will also be lots of new faces, including: Amybeth McNulty, Myles Truitt, Regina Ting Chen, and Grace Van Dien appearing during the season.
The first part of season four will be released 27 May, and the second half on 1 July.
