Netflix are saying they're likely to raise prices AGAIN and that would be the opposite of chill

apparently it's because they've improved their service....

Netflix wants to hike up its prices even though 'Love on the Spectrum' season 2 just dropped and I haven't finished binge-ing. Rude.

Earlier this week, the streaming service sent a fancy schmancy letter to its investors. In it, they write that "as we invest in and improve Netflix, we'll occasionally ask our members to pay a little extra to reflect those improvements."

Um, okay Mr Netlfix. I just wanna know where these improvements are because I do not see them. May I remind you that it hasn't even been a year since you banned sharing accounts across multiple households?!

According to the letter, they're going to add more live programming such as the SAG Awards, a special tennis match between Rafel Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz and WWE Wrestling. And fair enough, those will draw some numbers. But is it enough to warrant another price hike?'

Besides, in recent years Netflix has kind of fallen off. Yes, the fact they've got 'Love on the Spectrum' on the roster is almost reason alone to keep my subscription, but other streaming services have shows that I'm obsessed with (Neon has 'Fargo' and 'The Curse' - that's unreal).

Even the Netflix shows that prove to be popular don't come without a bit of controversy. Contestants on their IRL remake of the 'Squid Games' called out the conditions of the show, saying the games were rigged, they would starve for hours and that they are still dealing with injuries from the show.

Anyway, there's not a lot we can do to stop the price rise coming, so I'm off to binge LOTS.
