More FM pays tribute to long-time Taupō announcer Andrew Leiataua

It is with great sadness and shock that we announce the sudden passing of More FM radio announcer Andrew Leiataua yesterday, due to an unexpected medical condition.

Andrew has been with MediaWorks for 30 years, and our More FM breakfast host in Taupō for 20 years. He was a huge part of our community, and our thoughts are with Andrew’s family at this incredibly difficult time.

For those wanting to pay their respects, we will share details once we have them.

On More FM Taupō, Sean will be on air tomorrow morning from 6am.

You are welcome to leave your messages on the More FM Taupō Facebook page as we grieve and remember our true local icon.
