‘Stranger Things’ star Millie Bobby Brown has just announced some huge news - she and her husband Jake Bongiovi have become a family of three!
The couple, who tied the knot quietly back in May, shared the news they’ve adopted a baby girl, with a sweet Instagram post, saying: “This summer we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption.”
“We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy. And then there were 3.”
Millie has spoken before about wanting to become a young mum, telling the SmartLess podcast that she’d dreamed about starting a family long before she even met Jake. Growing up as one of four kids herself, she’s always said motherhood felt like a natural next step.
Jake, whose dad is none other than rock legend Jon Bon Jovi, tends to keep things low-key online - this post was actually his first in 22 weeks.
After their wedding earlier this year, Jon Bon Jovi told BBC’s The One Show: “They’re great. They’re absolutely fantastic. It was a very small family wedding, and the bride looked gorgeous, and Jake is happy as can be.”
It’s already a massive year for Millie with the final season of ‘Stranger Things’ on the horizon, and now stepping into the role of mum, she’s well and truly entering a brand-new chapter.
And judging by the outpouring of love from fans, there’s nothing but excitement for the new little family of three.
