Miley Cyrus has revealed the title of her tenth studio album.
After teasing the news over the past week, the singer-songwriter took to Instagram on Tuesday to announce that Bass Persuades will be available from 18 September.
"Music takes hold of us. We feel it, sing it, sometimes dance to it, let it out and carry on. It is powerful, vulnerable, sweet and strong," she wrote. "Heart full, heartache, every part of life in between. That's what the title means to me."
Miley, who appears to have dropped her surname from her Instagram handle and social media accounts, went on to praise her dedicated fans for their ongoing support.
"Thank you for being a part of making my wildest dreams come true. I sincerely hope you love this album," the 33-year-old gushed.
In an interview for Wonderland magazine published in July, Miley - who is engaged to musician Maxx Morando - described her next project as a "love story".
"There is definitely a romantic thread weaving through it because, like all my records, it's a reflection of where I am in my life. But this one feels especially meaningful because this feeling has stayed with me through multiple eras," she smiled at the time. "That's something I hadn't really experienced before. A peaceful kind of love has become a theme across my last three records. Not just the love I share with someone else, but the love I've found for myself. That's probably been the biggest evolution."
Later on Tuesday, Miley also confirmed she would be playing two shows at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on 16 and 18 October to celebrate her new album. Rock band Model/Actriz will serve as the special guest.
"It's been a while. The Hollywood Bowl is my favorite place to experience music and see my favorite artists," she added. "I've sat in those seats many times, but I've never taken the stage. LA is my heart and I'm bringing it home. See you there."
Miley unveiled her ninth studio album, Something Beautiful, in May 2025.
