Metallica have dropped the third track from their upcoming 11th studio album 72 Seasons, titled 'If Darkness Had a Son'.
It's a tune - the combination of intense riffs and hard hitting lyrics give it the classic, signature Metallica sound.
The band were teasing the new tune on TikTok leading up to its release - the first tease clip being Lars Ulrich playing the song by himself.
The next day they uploaded a 'duet' video with Robert Trujillo, followed by James Hetfield the next day, then adding Kirk Hammett as a four-part-duet video.
Much like how 72 Seasons was written, each band member played their parts in separate locations.

'If Darkness Had a Son' is the ninth song on the 12-track album. The seven-minute-song arrived with a moody music video, which you can watch up top.
