Met Gala 2026: Kylie Jenner's half-undressed look divides fans

Kylie Jenner has hit the Met Gala 2026 red carpet looking like she’s only half ready for the fashion world's biggest night.

To celebrate the museum’s “Costume Art” theme, Jenner went for a sculpted Schiaparelli look that frees the nipple - kinda.

The look gives the illusion of dropping her dress - something she’ll probably be very ready to actually do by the end of the night, because it looks HEAVY!

And while it’s not quite as bold as last year’s fully exposed moment from Bianca Censori (IYKYK), Kylie still made sure she was turning heads.

“The dress feels like it’s slipping away,” Kylie's hairstylist Iggy Rosales told Vogue. “It becomes this living sculpture in motion.”

Fans of the fashion event are torn over whether 'The Kardashians' star's look was hitting this year's theme on the head.

“Kylie serving sheer corset elegance with that pearl-dripped volume- Met Gala body art, unlocked,” one fan wrote on X.

“Corset’s giving sculpture, skirt’s giving cloud. Chef’s kiss,” said another.

 A third added: “Full glam, full spotlight, she always knows how to own a red carpet moment.”

Others say they were expecting more from ‘The Kardashians’ star.

 “Just because it’s what’s done doesn’t mean it’s what should be done,” another wrote.

"This is like the only silhouette she knows to do. And I feel like I’ve seen her do the nipples thing before, too," said another.

A third added: "It would have looked better fully covered." Posting an AI-generated image showing what the fully dressed version could have looked like.
