Beyoncé has just made her first appearance at the Met Gala in decade!!

As one of the official co-chairs for the night, all eyes were on Beyoncé attending the Met Gala 2026 carpet.

And honestly, the anticipation has been building for YEARS!

It’s been a whopping ten long years since she last walked the Met steps back in 2016 - when she delivered that now iconic nude latex Givenchy look.

For her return, Bey showed up in a diamond-dripped skeleton gown with a long, feathered train and a stunning sun-shaped headpiece.

This year, she arrived with Jay-Z and their daughter Blue Ivy Carter, adding extra significance to returning to the event.

In a red carpet chat with Vogue, Beyoncé said the night felt “surreal” because she was sharing it with her daughter.

"It’s incredible to be able to share it with her," she said.

What she’s most excited about for her return is being able to “experience this through the eyes of Blue”.

If you know the Bey-hive, you’ll know the internet is currently buzzing about Bey’s look.

“THE MET GALA OVER! Bey shut it down, that’s it, that’s all,” one fan said.

“She's come to claim her crown,” said another.

A third agreed: “THAT’S how you make your return to the Met!! 🌟🔥.”

According to Vogue, the singer is seemingly closing her ‘Cowboy Carter’ chapter and a “new era” is incoming.

The report touches on suggestions that her appearance will be the beginning of the long-awaited 'Act III', which is rumoured to be a rock album.

Right, I’m off to piece together more clues and drool over the iconic look.
