Mel C has confirmed that the Spice Girls won't be returning for a reunion tour in 2026.
During an appearance on Australian radio's The Smallzy Show, Mel Chisholm said she won't be reuniting with her bandmates, Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Melanie Brown and Emma Bunton, anytime this year.
"No, there is no reunion," she said.
However, Chisholm added that she's hopeful that they'll do something together again one day.
"We are communicating all the time. We want to do something. Who knows when, but I still feel very optimistic, and I keep my fingers crossed that you will see the Spice Girls together at some point in the future," she shared.
July 2026 will mark the 30th anniversary of the group's debut single, Wannabe, and in October, it'll be 30 years since they released their debut album, Spice.
During an October 2025 interview with US TV and radio host Andy Cohen, Beckham shared her thoughts about reuniting with her pals and said she loved the idea of them performing at the Sphere in Las Vegas.
"Oh my God, the Sphere is amazing, how good would the Spice Girls be at the Sphere?"
The Spice Girl known as Posh added regarding a tour, "It's tempting. It would be tempting, but could I take on a world tour? I can't. I have a job."
The last time the Spice Girls performed together was during the 2012 London Olympics closing ceremony.
