Megan Thee Stallion has spoken out after she was rushed to hospital on Tuesday.
Megan Thee Stallion, whose real name is Megan Pele, was forced to pull out of Broadway's Moulin Rouge! midshow earlier in the week, and was rushed to hospital with "extreme exhaustion, dehydration, vasoconstriction and low metabolic levels."
Now the Savage singer has taken to Instagram to give an update on her condition, explaining she has been pushing herself too hard.
"Last night was a real wake-up call for me," the rapper wrote. "I've been pushing myself past my limits lately, running on empty, and my body finally said enough. It honestly scared me. I thought I was gonna faint on stage, I really tried to push through my performance, but I just couldn't. Hotties, I wanna be real with y'all because you mean everything to me and I hate letting y'all down."
The 31-year-old promised she'd be back on stage for Thursday's show, resuming her role of Zidler.
"I just need one day to rest, reset, and take care of myself the way I should have been," she said. "I'll be right back on that stage Thursday, stronger, clearer, and ready to give you 100% the way you deserve. Thank you for always riding with me and loving me through everything."
