Meg and her husband Guy Mansell are excited to share that they’ve welcomed their second baby girl.
"I am now the mother of two children," Meg began. "I honestly still feel like I'm coming back down to Earth, and it's all a bit of a blur.”
Speaking with Clint, Dan, and Ash on The Edge Breakfast, Meg introduced her second daughter, saying: "Her name is Miller Lake Mansell.”
Little Miller was welcomed to the world at 6:01am, Sunday, July 20.
"She can go by Miller or Millie. She can either be her little tomboy coolness, or a little sweet Millie, whatever she wants to be,” Meg said.
“ I've been so nervous about the name. I know people will say it's a bit out there, and it's a boy's name or a surname, but it's a cool girl's name, and we like that.”
Meg went on to reflect on the emotional journey of her second pregnancy, saying: “I'm also extremely proud of myself, and if the boys ever give me shit for anything ever again, I will go back to that place and know what I'm capable of."
“What I went through to get this family has been pretty big, but we're here and we did it. It was a moment in time, and it's in my past now. And I’m very proud of myself."
It's amazing being able to instantly love something so much, or somebody so much, afterwards.
"I just adore her, isn't it funny? I just adore her,” she added.
"We are very happy to be a girl family, and have two girls in our lives. Two happy girls at the moment."
Sharing the first image of her family of four on Instagram, Meg gave praise to her husband for being her biggest support through Miller’s birth.
“Still coming back down to earth from the whole experience,” she wrote.
“I don't think anyone would doubt Guy would be an amazing birth partner during labour and postpartum, but he was even more than I had hoped or dreamed for. Knowledgeable, informed, strong, a great advocate and an empathetic carer.”
Talking about the kind messages from listeners throughout the pregnancy, Meg said: “It's so overwhelming to have people that I know I haven’t ever met in real life, but I really feel like I have such a strong connection to them because of this amazing job that I have.
“I've always felt your love through this pregnancy. So I can't thank everybody enough for genuinely sending their love.”
Congratulations, Meg, Guy and Daisy, for welcoming Miller into your loving family.
