Ever queued up for a Big Mac and wondered if the lunch rush is just as busy in other McDonald's stores around Aotearoa?
You'd be surprised to know that some of the busiest Maccas stores are not the ones in the most populous places.
McDonald's New Zealand has shared with More FM Breakfast their top 10 busiest restaurants, based on total sales for 2021.
A McDonald's spokesperson shared that Covid has had some impact on last year's rankings.
"Some of the Auckland restaurants we'd normally expect to see in the top 10 like Greenlane didn't make it, but there are some that are pretty consistently in the top-ranking restaurants."
Of their Top 10 list, only one store is from the South Island, while only two Auckland and Wellington locations make the busiest Macca's list.
