Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi get steamy to Charli XCX music in new movie

Adding 'Watch Wuthering Heights' to the calendar NOW!

Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi as characters Catherine and Heathcliff from 'Wuthering Heights' face to face, chest to chest appearing to almost kiss.

The first trailer for director Emerald Fennell’s adaptation of Emily Brontë’s 1847 novel 'Wuthering Heights' has dropped – and it’s definitely a teaser.

The film features the sexy pairing of Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi, and I don’t know about you, but this might be my dream on-screen romantic duo.

The trailer opens with a stunning shot of Margot Robbie’s character Catherine, before cutting to an oddly sensual close-up of female hands kneading dough.

“I can follow you like a dog to the end of the world,” Elordi as Heathcliff says to Catherine.

Cue the absolute swoon!

Heathcliff’s sweaty, scarred back, fingers in mouths, a dress being cut off with scissors, and plenty more teasing shots suggest the film is set to be as steamy as the forbidden love in the original novel.

“Drive me mad,” the trailer reads, spliced between sexy yet eerie glimpses of the pair’s growing romance.

It’s all set to British pop star Charli XCX’s 'Everything Is Romantic' – which, might I add, was a chef’s kiss addition to the trailer.

On Instagram, Charli shared the teaser and revealed that this track won’t be the only one of hers to feature in the film.

“New original songs by me for Emerald Fennell’s 'Wuthering Heights' starring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi,” she wrote in the caption. “In theatres February 14th. Happy early Valentine’s <3.”

Fans are already hyped for the release, with one commenting: “Everything is romantic pull… oh my goodness.”

“I need to talk to more people about this," another said.

Others added: “FULL. BODY. CHILLS.”, “This is my Super Bowl,” and “Never been more seated in my life.”

And here I was thinking I’d be most excited for my birthday next year… WRONG. Bring on Valentine’s Day!!
