MAFS stars stress about finding jobs because their influencer careers aren't taking off

Yikes. We guess that's the risk you take signing up for the reality TV life...

The MAFS drama this year is as good if not better than ever, but apparently the cast haven't quite been reaching the levels of reality TV fame they had hoped for.

According to an insider close to the MAFS series cast, some of the brides and grooms are freaking out because they quit their jobs for the show, hoping to become influencers after it wraps up.

Apparently that's not quite how it's going down though, with the contender's follower counts not nearly as high this year as they were for last year's brides and grooms at the same point in the season.

"Several cast members quit their jobs and have been banking on making it as influencers, certain it would happen overnight," the unnamed insider source said.

"They expected to have a lot more followers than they do, and are now concerned they won't get enough to sustain a full-time living through sponsored posts."

Bride Cathy Evans is the only contestant to have more than 100,000 followers at this point, with just five of her co-stars having more than 50,000.

Compared to last year, by this point in the experiment, lots of the cast had past the 100,000 followers mark, even the "bad guys" Jessika Power and Martha Kalifatidis.

"The biggest names will earn around $3,000 for each nightclub appearance in the next month or so because there's still a buzz around the show," said another source.

"But once the bookings dry up and everyone moves on to the next reality show, that's when they'll need huge followings on Instagram to secure enough sponsored posts each week to pay the bills. But it looks like they're not going to achieve that."
