Our nights are about to be booked and busy with the return of ‘Love Island UK’ on our screens next week.

We’re gearing up for more fire pit drama, terrace scandals, hot bombshells and shock dumplings.

This year seems to be focussing on absolute worldies (translation: hotties), and they mean it quite literally.

According to The Sun UK, fans should expect Islanders in the upcoming series to come from “different international postcodes.”

Last season’s winner was US gal Toni Laites, and the latest twist in the ‘All Stars’ spin-off saw a mix of UK and US Islanders, so it only makes sense to mix things up a little.

If true, it would line up with this year’s football World Cup theme… Interesting

Where to watch ‘Love Island UK’ 2026 in NZ

The new season is going to be available on TVNZ+ and DUKE with new episodes dropping every night of the week from Wednesday 3 June.

Who is in the OG ‘Love Island UK’ 2026 cast?

Robyn | 21 | Quantity Surveyor and DJ

Robyn says her “only goal is finding love,” adding that while there “may be a little bit of drama,” she’s going in there for herself.

“I’ve got to do what I’ve got to do.”

Lorenzo | 28 | Business Owner

Lorenzo reckons "all is fair in love and war" and won't be staying away from the drama.

“I do what I want, I say what I want, I go after what I want. I wouldn’t be one to play it safe."

Mica | 21 | Student

It wouldn’t be a Love Island season without some kind of nepo-baby goss, and this year it’s Mica bringing the high-profile family connections.

According to The Sun UK, Mica’s aunt is Mia Mottley, the Prime Minister of Barbados, while her cousin is the late Eva Mottley, who famously dated David Bowie for two years.

Having a PM aunty is actually pretty sick - I wonder if she’ll mention it to the other islanders?!

Sean | 25 | Primary School Teacher

Irish bloke Sean has previously played football for Galway before turning to teaching. Sporty, good with kids, accent… He’s ticking a few boxes already!

Ellie | 24 | Real Estate Videographer

The Sun UK reports that Ellie has a close connection to a former Love Island UK winner.

Ellie is allegedly close pals with series six star Paige Turley, who took out the top spot with her then-partner Finn Tapp.

Samraj | 25 | Model

One scroll through Samraj’s Instagram and it’s clear he’s nailed the model poses - but whether that’ll help him with the ladies in the villa is another question entirely…

Lola | 28 | Detective

Lola wants a drama-free season. “I’m not overly into drama - to be fair, I’m such a chilled person,” she says.

“I do like watching it, but I don’t want to be a part of it.” - let’s see how long that lasts, eh?!

Sam | 25 | Electrician

Sam reckons “Life’s too short for games”. He prides himself on his honesty and being nonchalant… “There’s no messing around.”

Angelista | 24 | Nurse

Angelina isn’t coming to the villa without a game plan. “I’ll put myself in the position to be seen by the guys so they know I’m interested, but I’m not gonna beg it,” she says.

“I’ll be in the mix, 100% - I’m not watching in the back.”

Ope | 27 | West-end Performer

The performer is set to bring some entertainment to the villa having previously worked as part of ‘Moulin Rouge! The Musical’ and ‘Burlesque The Musical'. Something tells me he’ll be bringing some moves!

Jasmine  | 27 | Fashion Business Owner

Jasmine Müller is from Dubai, but currently lives in London and runs her own brand - Mahalia.

Already boasting a whopping 95,000 Instagram followers, fans of the show reckon she’ll be the next Molly-Mae to come from the show.

Aidan Murphy | 23 | Property Broker

Aiden doesn’t have a type on paper, but he’s most keen on personality.

“Obviously, I know if I find someone physically attractive, but if we’re not connecting, laughing, and having a good time, it just wouldn’t work for me,” he says.

“I like someone who is fun, can take a joke, and doesn’t take themselves too seriously. If we’re constantly laughing and getting on, that’s what matters most.”

We can’t wait to see who gets coupled up in the first ep… next week needs to hurry up!
