Lorde’s ‘raw and gritty’ Ultrasound Tour: What to know for her 2026 NZ shows

A mid-shot captures Lorde singing passionately into a microphone on stage, wearing a white t-shirt and metallic-accented pants. Bright blue and white stage lights illuminate the scene with another blurred figure in the background.

Bless the Lorde, she’s back! Our royal Kiwi export is returning home to perform on February 11 at Auckland’s Spark Arena, and February 13 at Christchurch’s Wolfbrook Arena as part of her ‘Ultrasound’ World Tour.

If you’re wondering how this show could stack up against the previous ‘Solar Power’ tour in 2023, Redditors have dubbed Ultrasound “more raw and gritty” and full of energy. In fact, one fan described it as “the best parts of all of her ‘major’ tours to create what I consider genuinely a perfect concert experience”. So with those reviews, we’re fizzing to find out what she brings to New Zealand!

Last tickets are still available from Ticketmaster. Here’s all you need to know ahead of her two shows:

Lorde NZ set times:

  • Auckland start time: 7pm

  • Christchurch start time: 6.20pm

  • Support Act: Kevin Abstract

Parking & Transport:

AUCKLAND

  • Public Transport: Frequent bus and train services run to Waitematā Station (Britomart), which is a flat 5-10 minute walk from the venue. Use the AT Journey Planner to map your trip.

  • Drop-off Zone: The best spot for ride-shares or drop-offs is the footbridge on Quay Street. Mahuhu Crescent, Tangihua Street and Te Taou Crescent surrounding Spark Arena will be closed during this time.

  • Parking: If you have to drive, there are 7,000 car parks within a 1.2km radius of Spark Arena. From Britomart Car Park to 30 Mahuhu Crescent, see the full list on Spark Arena’s site. Mobility Parking at Spark Arena is limited and needs to be pre-booked with the venue.

CHRISTCHURCH

  • Public Transport: Metro Bus Stops are located nearby on Lincoln Road and Whiteleigh Ave.

  • Drop-off Zone: With larger events, the Wolfbrook Arena drop-off zone may be to the side of the venue instead of outside the main front doors.

  • Parking: It’s first-come-first-serve basis at the venue, so your best chance to secure a car park is arriving early! Mobility parking spots are also available on a first-in basis for those with a mobility pass.

Venue Rules and Entry for Auckland and Christchurch:

  • Bags: Max size 30 x 30 cm is standard, so keep your big backpacks at home.

  • Smoking / Vaping: Not allowed inside, and you’ll be kicked out if you’re caught!

  • Food & Drink: No outside drinks or bottles are allowed. Food and drinks are available to purchase inside, and free water stations are available around the venue.

  • Cameras: Your phone is fine, but keep the professional DSLRs, long lenses, tripods, and selfie sticks away.

  • Tickets: Mobile tickets need to be shown from the Ticketmaster app or browser. Don’t trust a ticket screenshot!
