LISTEN: Slipknot drop new song 'Yen' off their upcoming album 'The End, So Far'

'Yen' is the third track to be released from the album so far.

Slipknot have treated us with another new tune, 'Yen,' off their fourthcoming album 'The End, So Far.'

'Yen' is the third track to be released from the album so far.

'The Chapeltown Rag' was released last year, followed by 'The Dying Song (Time To Sing)', which was released last month along with a music video directed by the band's own M. Shawn 'clown' Crahan.

The new song is definitely more of a slow-burner compared to their other tracks.

Give it a nudge below.

Frontman Corey Taylor told Kerrang that Yen is probably one of his favourite songs the band have ever done. He said:

"..It's such a great, cool departure for us, because there are obviously very Slipknot elements to it, but then some of the music is us kind of touching our inner Tom Waits in weird ways, you know?

"It's really, really cool. But then there's almost like a Type O [Negative] approach to it. I think people are really, really going to fucking dig it when they hear it."
