Lindt has done it again – they’re really speaking to our sweet tooth with their latest dessert-inspired Lindor balls.
If you’re someone who gets weak at the knees for ANYTHING coffee-flavoured (guilty), then you’re gonna want to close your mouth before the drool starts dripping when I tell you this one.
They’ve taken on the absolute Italian icon, tiramisu, to flavour their latest truffle balls that have hit NZ shelves this week.
Smothered in Lindt’s classic milk chocolate shell, this one has a little extra speciale – that’s “special” in Italian, yeah, I’ve been brushing up, lol.
The shell has a bit of a crunchy biscuit twist, inspired by the ladyfinger (or savoiardi) biscuits that make up the base of the OG dessert.

This ball basically has everything you’d want from a spoonful of tiramisu in one bite-sized treat.
It gives you creamy mascarpone and hints of coffee with the smooth, filled centre.
Lindt Master Chocolatier Thomas Schnetzler reckons the goal was to “encapsulate the magic” of a tiramisu – no spoon required.
“The enticing aroma of coffee and rich milk chocolate combined with the creamy mascarpone filling and the textural delight of biscuit pieces, creates a truly multi-sensory and authentic taste experience,” he said.
I fear one bag might not be enough for me, and I’m certainly not sharing with anyone – you might need to warn your own mates before they go digging in your stash with their mitts.
