KJ Apa bared all - literally - about his naked shower scene in the new film ‘The Map That Leads to You’.
In a recent interview between KJ and Sirius XM’s Andy Cohen, the radio host revealed the nude scene to convince people to go watch the movie.
“KJ, of course, will not say it, but I’m going to say something that may sell the movie to a lot of you who are wondering whether to go see it,” Andy said. “You can very clearly see KJ’s ass in the movie.”
“You can,” KJ added. “It’s hairy, too!”
“Well I was thinking about this… Do I shave my ass for the movie? Here’s the thing, I didn’t know that day that I was going to be showing my ass. Had I known, maybe I would’ve shaved it.”
Turns out KJ wasn't given any prior heads up that they would be shooting him nude that day.
Originally [Madelyn Cline] was meant to be naked in the shower, then something happened that day, and I said I’ll do it,” KJ explained.
Andy reckons he knows what played out. “She came in that day and said I’m not getting naked in the shower, that’s not in my deal. And they were like ‘KJ we need some skin,” he joked.
KJ bursts into a fit of laughter as Andy keeps going: “And KJ’s like, ‘Alright, well, I didn’t shave it’. And they’re like, ‘You know? Even more interesting’.”
Whether that really is the case, well that’s a story for KJ’s co-star Madelyn to tell.
