How awesome is this!? A bunch of great Kiwis have got together to help popular Maori musician Pere Wihongi with his latest cover.
The cover is to celebrate Mahuru Maori and Te Wiki o te Reo Maori and is titled 'Mahuru'.
The waiata is of Earth, Wind & Fire's September, and instead of performing the song in English, he has completely made the waiata his own, relating it to our Maori korero.
Mahuru is the equivalent of September in Te Reo.
