Two absolute legends from Auckland’s Lynfield College are getting hyped up for their incredible talent quest performance.
Julia and her mate Dre smashed it with their hip-hop routine, featuring a mash-up they put together themselves, including hits like The Backstreet Boys' ‘Everybody’ and Ariana Grande's ‘The Boy Is Mine’, running seamlessly into the track of the same name by Brandy & Monica.
The girls have been posting dance vids since April, but while they always get love, they hadn’t cracked 2k views - until now!
Their talent quest performance clip blew up with a massive 40k views in just a few days.
The girls' synchronised moves were applauded in the comments, with one writing: “The mix, the moves, the queens 🔥🔥🔥.”
“YALL ATE THAT UPPP,” added another and at least 14 others agreed that they left no crumbs.
While a third said: “I can't stop watching it’s soooo good!”
The talent of these two is unquestioned as they took out the top spot in their school’s competition.
“[A] VERY MUCH DESERVEEEDDDDDD WINNN,” said one commenter.
“Talent quest winners ay? 👀,” wrote a popular Kiwi dancing duo known as Orange Coconut.
“Imagine the collab with @Orange Coconut,” another user said. We reckon that would be so ON!
Orange Coconut are back-to-back winners of Auckland’s Avondale College talent quest and have gained a fanbase of 30.9k followers on TikTok.
It’s not hard to see why. They’re a mix of pure talent and hilarious personalities that really shine in their performances.
“Brooooo this makes me wanna cryyyyy the wholesomeness is just too much!!! Awesome performance guys! 👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥,” one commenter wrote.
Right! We need this collab to happen. These rangatahi are UNREAL!
