We’ve written about HEAPS of mean haka from around the motu - but one has caught our attention for being a little less hearty and a heck of a lot more hurty…
A video reshared by a popular Instagram page @made_n_aotearoa_nz, has us cracking up for going wrong.
In the clip, the brother, Kaylen Sinanovic, was leading his mates in haka and got a little too passionate.
Performing in a bar, where we imagine a few drinks had been spilled, meant the ground wasn’t the most ideal surface to let rip.
As he jumped in the air, there was no saving him as he slipped and fell flat on his bum.
Thankfully, his mates were right there to pick him up - as all good mates do - and he got back on his feet pretty quickly.
While the recovery was flawless, the bum to the floor action couldn’t be skipped over by commenters.
“May this haka technique never find me 🤣,” one person commented.
“I would've went to the back lad,” said another.
A third added: “Bro, it gets funnier the more you watch it.”
“Ahahaa! It’ll forever be with me 🤣,” Kaylen wrote on the video of himself.
Others had to mention their respect for his mates.
“Bro who helped him is day 1 type. Respect,” said one person.
Another added: “Real friend right there! And he got heart to keep going! Most would run away, shamed, but good on them both.”
Someone else wrote: “As crack up as this is, shot to the brother for grounding him and straight back into it 🔥🙌.”
You know we’ll be coming straight back to this one every time we need a good chuckle. Shot Kaylen, for this absolute beauty.
