Kiwi DJ Witters posts vid of his dad choosing front left over backstage to watch his set at R&V

Get amongst it geezaaa.

A New Zealand DJ posted a video of his dad getting amongst it at Rhythm and Vines when he could've been living it up backstage and it's some excellent viewing.

Witters, who crafted the tunes 'Burning Cold' and 'Calibrate', posted the ten-second clip to his TikTok with the caption "Dad thought backstage was overrated so he went in the front row instead".

Check it out below:

The poise and confidence that man possesses while being right up front during 'peak time' at RNV's Jungle stage is otherworldly.

We've got to talk about the form of that fist bump - he sees the other person going for it, but rather than extending his own fist out to the other person, he holds his up, thereby forcing the other person to extend their first, asserting his moshpit authority to the other first bumper and anyone else watching.

Legendary stuff.

Commenters on the TikTok were absolutely loooving the form on Witter's old man - whose name is Geordie.

"Geordie for president," wrote one commenter.

"Geordie!!! Dang, I hope I'm as cool as him when I grow up. eventually," said another.

"What a legend," one more commented.

Witters is well known here at George FM. Last year, he was a finalist for our best DJ Georgie - an esteemed, highly regarded award.

"People getting recognition for something that is a true passion. To me that is absolutely everything!" he wrote in an Instagram post.

"The finalists have just come in for the 2021 George FM awards. Feeling incredibly thankful to be put forward for the best DJ category this year next to kiwis legends @leemvtthews & @porisnz"
