Kiwi DJ 33 Below's unreal remix of a huge Odd Mob tune is dropping this week so have a geez

"absolute rompa"

New Zealand's very own rising DJ star 33 Below's UKG remix of a huge tune is getting officially released this Friday (17th) and he's given us the sneakiest of peeks to fill the void until the official release.

Real name Jack Laven, his UK garage remix of Odd Mob's house tune-and-a-half 'Left to Right' is dropping on Insomniac Records and Tinted Records. Huge.

"HOL UP HOL UP!! Sooo soo gassed to be dropping my ukg remix of Odd Mob's 'LEFT TO RIGHT"," he said alongside a brief clip of his remix. "Big love to Odd Mob for having me on this."

Odd Mob let his approval be known, commenting that he reckons the track is an "absolute rompa".

Followers of Laven's are pumped to say the least. As are we followers, as are we.

"Taking me 33 above with this one," wrote one person.

"This f*cking slaps," said another.

And there are about a million fire emojis in the comments, the universal symbol for "yewww".

If you haven't heard the tune he's remixing, you need to get informed. Odd Mob, real name Harry Hope, is an Aussie DJ and he made 'Left to Right' just for fun back in 2022, during a Twitch stream. However, fans started frothing it - especially the Soulja Boy sample - when Dom Dolla whipped it out during a set.

"Next thing you know, Disclosure is in my DMs, Diplo's giving the track a spin and Dom's sharing requests for it from heaps of the biggest DJs in the world," Hope said, as reported by Cultr.

Laven can work magic with the decks. Late last year he showed off his talent and versatility during his release party for his debut EP 'Motions'.

Throughout that hour-long set he went mental, flipping A$AP Rocky's 'Fashion Killa' into a house tune as well as Drake and Future's 'Way 2 Sexy' into a UK Garage edit. Those are just two highlights from a mammoth 60-minute set that you 1000% need to check out.
