Kiwi Discovery: Pixie Lane - Your Eyes

Pixie Lane is no stranger to the George FM airwaves, holding down a consistent George Nights residency, playing many of our George FM summer tour stops & many other massive NZ festies, and now, she's adding even more tunes to her back catalogue.

In time of writing, Pixie Lane is 6 weeks deep in a songwriting and producing camp, and she’s brought along sound engineer Elliot to get on the tools too. With ‘Your Eyes’ being the first record to surface from said writing camp.

“I wanted to make a song that makes people happy because honestly, I think the world is a little crazy at the moment, and I really believe music can impact your mood, and I guess this is my way of helping” - Pixie Lane

Not only does this track take listeners to a happy place, it also took Pixie Lane to some pretty impressive places too. Pixie debuted this record during her DJ set at Ultra Music festival NZ, being the only Kiwi to grace the mainstage, HOW GOOD!
