Kiwi Discovery: Frankie Venter - Say It

Frankie Venter returns with “Say It,” her first new music since her debut EP, a big deal to me.

Co-written with longtime collaborators Adam Snow and Rory Noble, the track sees Frankie move into a softer, more stripped-back sound, blending warm keys, soft guitar and laid-back percussion.

The song is about self-acceptance, wanting to be loved for who you are, and letting go of the pressure to fit someone else’s idea of you. Already teased on TikTok, “Say It” picked up hundreds of thousands of views before its release, with support from artists including Joe Jonas and Maisie Peters.
