Kiwi Discovery: Dawson & HIGH HØØPS - Blazing Sun

A couple kiwi fellahs just bringing some absolute sultry groove to ya with ‘Blazing Sun’.

Linking up around a Flamingo Pier festival many moons ago, with HIGH HØØPS needing a bass player and DAWSON being more than obliged to lend a hand, the bond was created. Since then it's been a creative relationship that’s bubbled away under the surface.

‘Blazing Sun’ is what you’d hope to come across playing as you enter your favourite little coffee shop on a slow sunday. It’s friendly and gives you a warm feeling without being in your face, a beautiful record all round.
