King Kohli Beats Sachin to History!

Virat Kohli reached another monumental milestone in international cricket on Sunday, becoming the fastest player in history to score 15,000 runs in One Day Internationals (ODIs) during the first match against the West Indies in Thiruvananthapuram.

Needing 59 runs before the start of the match to surpass Sachin Tendulkar’s speed record, the Indian master batter reached his half-century in style. Kohli completed the 15,000-run mark in just 303 innings, smashing the previous record held by Tendulkar, who reached the landmark in 377 innings. Kohli is now only the second batsman in ODI history to cross the 15,000-run threshold.

On the match front, despite a brilliant century from West Indies opener Justin Greaves (101), a lethal spin bowling spell from Kuldeep Yadav (4/40) helped India restrict the visitors to 295/7.
