‘Protect him in the pit’: Kid goes viral dancing to Drowning Pool’s ‘Bodies’

A young kid has gone viral after filming himself absolutely rocking out to Drowning Pool’s Bodies in his bedroom.

The video shows the little bloke, who looks about seven, fully committing to the late 2000s nu-metal tune. He’s singing, dancing, and throwing down moves that have well and truly captured the internet’s attention.

His bedroom only adds to the charm. There’s a basketball decal on the wall, a car-themed dresser with a Hot Wheels sticker, and he’s wearing a Tom and Jerry baseball shirt that one commenter reckons proves he’s “living a ’90s life in 2026.”

The clip has blown up online, clocking more than 50 million views and over 4 million likes on Instagram alone. Fans are loving the kid’s energy, with comments like “He’s got a old soul Tom and Jerry shirt and hardcore rock” and “Everything about this is perfect. The moves. The Tom and Jerry shirt. Young kid listening to a song damn near 20 years older than him.” 

Another viewer wrote, “We will protect him in the pit forever.”

Even Breaking Benjamin’s official account slid into the comments with an epic gesture: “We got some tickets for him & his parents!” they wrote.
