Kesha has revealed that she wears a necklace partly made of her own placenta.
During an appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast on Wednesday, the Tik Tok hitmaker displayed her unusual necklace to host Alex Cooper.
"Throw it in the blender, pop it in a necklace. Work!" she shared, revealing the gold pendant contained powdered placenta. "So your placenta supposedly gives you second sight, helps open your third eye. This is according to my mother. So she stuck it in the oven. She put it in a box, and she found it when I was like 21 years old in the basement."
Kesha went on to joke that she's like a "cult leader" and loves a "good ritual".
"And I just... I love a ritual that reminds me of this, like, esoteric world I prefer to live in. Like down here on Earth, boring. But like, when I go up into, like, with my spirit guides and the whole realm of angels... that's where I prefer to be. It's kind of fun," the 39-year-old smiled.
In addition, the We R Who We R singer shared that she also collects teeth for her art and jewellery.
"It just reminds me when I have a little piece of the people I love," she explained. "I've been collecting them for a while now... My cats had to get their little teeth taken out, their little kitty wisdom teeth. I collect those too. I'm like the tooth fairy."
Elsewhere in the conversation, Kesha opened up about her prior use of cosmetic filler.
"I went through a horrible filler phase. God, that sucked," the Your Love Is My Drug star sighed. "Because I was like, 'Oh, that's what I should do.' And then I'm like, 'I actually don't like the way that looks.' It's this constant dance with society on what it does mean to be a woman and what is acceptable and also, we're not supposed to age. Trust me, I don't want to. But like, I don't know what else to do."
Kesha delivered her sixth studio album, Period, in July 2025. She is currently promoting a song titled Origami.
