Katy Perry remained unflustered when a 'fan' ran on stage while she was performing in Sydney
The pop star is currently down under for her The Lifetimes Tour, with three big nights at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena.
On Monday, the singer was startled when a fan broke onto the stage while she was singing her 2008 hit single 'Hot n Cold'. Footage of the moment has surfaced online showing the star strumming her guitar on stage when a fan dressed in dark clothing suddenly appears at her side and starts jumping around
After squealing in surprise, the singer moves away and begins to sing while two security guards attempt to wrangle the intruder away.
Addressing the controversy, Perry is heard remarking, "Well, there's never going to be another show like this. So just enjoy it, Sydney."
As two further security guards join the effort to drag the invader off stage, Perry can be heard shouting, "What the hell is going on?"Monday night’s show was the second of three in Sydney, with the final gig set for Tuesday night.
From there, Perry continues her world tour, which kicked off in Mexico in April and runs through to December, wrapping in the United Arab Emirates.
The Lifetimes tour is taking Katy across Asia, Australia, Europe, both Americas, and the Middle East
