The cast of the popular sitcom Kath & Kim has got back together to record a special for the 20th anniversary.

The 'foxy' ladies of Fountain Lake will return later this year in the one-off special featuring new sketch material mixed with best-of and rare material.

Gina Riley, Jane Turner, Magda Szubanski, Glenn Robbins, and Peter Rowsthorn

The special will see the return of Kath Day-Knight (Jane Turner), her daughter Kimberly Day Craig (Gina Riley), Kath's butcher husband Kel (Glenn Robbins), Kim's husband Brett (Peter Rowsthorn), and second-best friend Sharon (Magda Szubanski).

Kath & Kim's first aired in May 2002 and continued for two further seasons, totalling 24 episodes, as well as their tv movie Da Kath & Kim Code.

We can't wait to see it because we just know it's gonna be nice, it's gonna be different, and of course, it's gonna be unusual.
