Kate Middleton posts her very first personal Instagram

And it was all for a very good cause!

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have just completed a five-day stint in Pakistan as a part of their royal tour.

The trip saw the Duchess give her first TV interview in almost 9 years, as she discussed how important it was for her and William to see the SOS Children's Village Orphanage.

Kate obviously felt so moved by the experience, not only did she do a TV interview, she also decided to dedicate her first Instagram post caption to the cause.

The lengthy message reads:

"The community at the SOS Village is built around family - and the best possible family you could imagine - where everyone comes together to nurture, love and protect the children in their care."

"These vulnerable children, many who have come through traumatic circumstances, are nurtured in this caring environment and are able to form these quality relationships that they so desperately need to thrive."

"Catherine".

The tour of Pakistan was described as their "most complex yet" due to logistical and security reasons with the itinerary of each day announced every morning.

It's clear that the visit to the orphanage had a major impact on both royals with the couple making time for a return visit before they left for their home in the UK.
