Yoga is highly accessible, and you don’t need any special gear or experience to get started. Here is a simplified approach to building a practice:

  • Be consistent, not long:Commit to just ten minutes daily. Regular, brief sessions are more neurologically beneficial than infrequent, long ones.

  • Prioritize breathwork:You can calm your mind quickly by inhaling for four counts, holding for four, and exhaling for six. Repeat this five times.

  • Keep poses simple:Begin with gentle movements like Child’s Pose, Cat Cow, Seated Twists, and forward bends to ease spinal tension.

  • Create a schedule:Practice at a consistent time each day, whether you want to boost your energy in the morning or wind down at night.

  • Focus on feeling, not form:Ignore the "perfect" look. Yoga is meant to be a tool for internal well-being rather than a test of flexibility.
