Last month, Robbie Williams headlined the finale of the Australian Football League with a spectacular performance.
Robbie dedicated a song to John Farnham by performing his classic 'You're the voice'.
John Farnham is currently battling mouth cancer and is recieving treatment.
"I want everyone to sing along to this – the next song is the unofficial national anthem of Australia," Robbie told the crowd.
"LET'S ALL SEND OUR LOVE TO JOHN AND HIS FAMILY."
The crowd sang along with Robbie, and it sure was spine-tingling.
John Farnham's family has responded to Robbie heartfelt tribute saying, "We were delighted to see Robbie Williams dedicate his performance of You're The Voice to John".
They said that John "thoroughly enjoyed" his performance and it was a "generous gesture" as he watched it from his bed.
"John was watching from hospital and was deeply touched by that very generous gesture," they said.
"He thoroughly enjoyed Robbie's performance too."
John's family recently gave an update that the singer's recovery is "progressing well".
A week after the surgery, his wife said "The cancerous tumour . has been successfully removed. There is still a long road of recovery and healing ahead of us, but we know John is up for that task."
This week the singer was moved to a rehabilitation facility and Jill said it has been a "terrific progress".
"Each of these steps means things are moving in the right direction, and for that we are enormously thankful" she said.
"Our family is so very grateful to all the remarkable teams of Victorian medical professionals who have taken such good care of John," Jill Farnham said.
"THESE OUTCOMES ARE A CREDIT TO THEIR DEDICATION, SKILLS AND COMPASSION".
"His medical team are very pleased with his progress over the past month."
We wish John a speedy recovery, he has undoubtedly touched many people with his music over the years.
