Your options for flying around New Zealand have just got a little slimmer!
Today, Jetstar have announced that they're stopping their regional services from Auckland to Nelson, Napier, New Plymouth and Palmerston North as well as Nelson to Wellington.
Since 2015, the airline has offered 130 return services to the above locations but due to lower demand and higher fuel costs, it's come to an end.
"The New Zealand regional market is facing some headwinds, with softer demand and higher fuel costs and we don't see the outlook changing any time soon." says Jetstar's Chief Executive Officer, Gareth Evans.
"As a result, we're announcing a proposal today to end our regional services, with the final flights on 30 November this year."
Flights between Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin and Queenstown will still continue along with Jetstar's international flights from New Zealand.
Jetstar have said for those with regional flights booked after November 30th, they'll be offering other alternative options including full refunds.
