Jessie J has confirmed her split from Chanan Safir Colman, following a "sad and difficult situation".
The Price Tag singer, who shares three-year-old son Sky with Chanan, took to social media on Monday to announce she has been single for a while.
"Chanan and I decided to end our romantic relationship some time ago, it has been a sad and difficult situation," Jessie wrote on an Instagram.
"But we have been focused on navigating the change privately and positively for a healthy and happy co parenting environment for our son, and ourselves."
Alongside the message, the music star tagged her ex as she posted a black and white image of the trio standing with their backs to the camera, wearing matching personalised black sports jackets, while The Beatles song Here Comes the Sun played in the background.
As she announced the sad news, Jessie explained that she had wanted to set the record straight to avoid speculation about her relationship status.
"Unfortunately being in the public eye this is the easiest way to let people know the truth, before rumours circulate or a false narrative is written," she shared.
Jessie and Danish-Israeli former professional basketballer Chanan were first romantically linked in 2021, but didn't go public with their romance until 2023. Their son was born in May that year.
It is not clear how they first met, but Jessie, 38, had previously described the athlete as "the calm to (her) crazy".
Elsewhere in her heartfelt message, the singer vowed to remain on good terms with her 42-year-old ex for the sake of their young son.
"We will always continue supporting each other with love, respect and care as friends and most importantly being Skys Mum and Dad (sic)," Jessie added.
"So if you see us out and about together as a family, or posting each other on socials every now and again. That's exactly what we are doing."
"Raising and loving Sky together, supported with a positive friendship," she concluded before she signed off.
